1st North German Gravel Championship

The premiere of the North German Gravel Championship with a length of 150 km and a total of 1,200 meters of altitude difference took place on 01.09.2024 as part of the Sparkassen-HeideGravel in Taura near Torgau. Organized as a nationwide race for the states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein, participation was open to all interested gravel bikers. The prizes were wildcards for the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships in Flanders, Belgium, at the beginning of October.

We congratulate Pierre Keup from Team Standert-Brandenburg and Tina Schulz from Maxx Solar ROSE on their great 1st places 🥇🥇. Matthias Wydra from TV Sangerhausen and Tobias Rahn from RSG Hannover have also secured their place at the 2024 World Championships. In the women’s competition, Julia Dombrowski and Kathie Sigmund from Hamburg will travel to Flanders at the beginning of October.
